Happy National Cheesecake Day!

I'm not sure which day is more dear to my heart... It's a toss up between National Donut Day and National Cheesecake Day! We've saved quite a few recipes over the last few years to our Pinterest board Bake It! and this recipe my absolute favorite. Crème Brûlée + Cheesecake? YES!! Summertime is one of my favorite times of year. Charlies on vacation from school, the PTA madness has died down, playdates with the neighborhood kids, and more importantly it's a time for us to connect as a family.

Our house has turned into kid central, which we love. I make sure to keep the cabinets stocked with sidewalk chalk, playdough and bubbles! These always seem to be the favorites.

I have a slight obsession with donuts. Perfectly fried sweet bread, draped in a ooey gooey glaze. Light and fluffy, melt in your mouth... mmm, donuts.

That being said, I get to eat them only on rare occasions (insert sad face).
