Flavored Vodka: Infused vodka is a delicious DIY during the holidays! They make wonderful hostess gifts and are so easy to make. Fill a few mason jars with vodka and add some fresh fruit, leave it in the refrigerator for a few weeks, add some crafty labels and you're ready to gift! Visit Tee-to-Table for more info.

Cookie mixes in jar! One of my absolute favorites. I gave a bunch of these away a few years ago (a pancake mix version) and it was a huge hit! These crafty little gems make it so easy for the non bakers to whip up delicious morsels of yummy treats. Infused Oil: Yum... just yum. This Garlic confit is a slightly more complicated infused oil. You have to heat the garlic in the oil before jarring. The end result is more spectacular and loaded with rich garlic flavor. Visit Food & Style for more info.

This is by far my favorite time of year. Sure I love Summer... sand, sun, sangria, but there's just something about getting to eat as much as you want for 3 straight months and covering the gluttony with oversized sweaters and super stretchy skinny jeans. Until you realize New Years Eve is a week away and you need to fit into a super cute sequins dress. But anywho... On to the good stuff! New Arrivals & A Revamped Site!

The Summer Peach!

Happy National Peach Month! One of my all time favorite fruits (aside from the Angelcot from Trader Joes, which is like fruit crack...) is the Summer peach! A bowl of freshly pick peaches that you can smell across the room.

Our neighbor has a peach tree perfectly planted near the edge of our backyard patio. During the Spring the buds of the tree give off an almost almond like smell. When Summertime rolls around the sunshine-filled peaches are ripe and delicious. She's kind enough to share the peaches with us, provided the squirrels don't help themselves to all of them before they finish ripening. :)

Ripe & juicy, mixed into scrumptious cocktails, baked into warm tarts or cut up into refreshing salads, they are one of my favorite Summertime fruits.

Happy National Cheesecake Day!

Summertime is one of my favorite times of year. Charlies on vacation from school, the PTA madness has died down, playdates with the neighborhood kids, and more importantly it's a time for us to connect as a family.

Our house has turned into kid central, which we love. I make sure to keep the cabinets stocked with sidewalk chalk, playdough and bubbles! These always seem to be the favorites.

I have a slight obsession with donuts. Perfectly fried sweet bread, draped in a ooey gooey glaze. Light and fluffy, melt in your mouth... mmm, donuts.

That being said, I get to eat them only on rare occasions (insert sad face).
